Suzanne is Leaving and We’re Happy About It

Suzanne’s last day at Earth Mama Angel Baby was last week and we’re happy about it. Not because we’re happy she’s leaving, but because we’re  happy she is leaving to have a baby.

She came to work at Earth Mama Angel Baby, and has been our #1 Mama’s Helper ever since. It was the same month we packed up the garage, kitchen, dining room, laundry room and carport and moved into these buildings. And since that time, she has wanted to have an angel baby of her own.

Suzanne’s is customer service expert extraordinare. Not only can she find her way around multi-field spreadsheets like nobody’s beeswax, she can switch between screens on the computer, soothe a store owner on the phone or a concerned, first time mommy with sore breasts, and hand you a stack of perfectly executed orders all at the same time. AND have a perfectly tidy desk the whole time. Lost file? No problem. Need reference to an email that you had two and a half years ago on a hot day about noon-ish during a full moon? She had it filed and could put her hands on it.

She was always willing to do most anything we asked, including get naked. When we needed a model for the Monthly Comfort Tea box, she joyfully disrobed and donned a pair of wings for our photographers.

Not only that, Suzanne was a tradeshow superstar. She worked tirelessly; organizing and putting together the booth then stood on cement floors for 4 days with a huge smile on her face, recited pricing, product specs and told everyone about EMAB with true enthusiasm.

Suzanne is a part of our family. One with an ever present smile and endless willingness to help. Everyone here is going to miss her.  I’m going to miss not just how well she did her job and her willingness to do just about anything she was asked and then some. But also her ever present smile, her sweet spirit and her fierce, generous hugs.

Year after year, she worked faithfully for this company, surrounded by products for pregnant women and babies, all the while wanting to be a mama. I’m ecstatic that soon she will be, and can’t wait to meet her brand new angel boy.
